Gradebook End of Term Chores for Teachers
Greetings;
Now that Term 1 has closed and the time for grade entry is ended, you may
need to change a grade or update an I or M to a normal grade. Please
follow these directions when doing so
1. Make sure you are making changes in the T1 term
2. Make the necessary grade changes for the assignments that need to be
changed.
3. For Medical or Incomplete changes, uncheck the manual override
checkbox in the score inspector and allow the letter grade to calculate
normally.
4. For a grade correction just update the assignment with the correct
grade... the final T1 grades will be adjusted.
5. Save your entries by clicking on SAVE
6. MOST IMPORTANT.....Email the new letter and numeric grade with the
student's name to Judy Blake at jblake@uppercapetech.org She will then
update the stored permanent grades
in Powerschool.
These steps should always be followed whenever a grade change takes place
for a term or semester that has ended and normal grade entry is done.
